First, I need to say, unabashedly, and unashamedly, that this post is borrowed directly from Anthony Robbins, whose blog I will be referring you to once I finish. These 5 Keys for Thriving are from a video he recorded to encourage all of us on the Thanksgiving holiday, but I think it will serve us equally well as we head into the end of the year. Pay attention, if you want to manage your performance to new levels of excellence.
Success Factor #1 for Thriving: Feed Your Mind! Shut out the bad, bring in the good! Read, Study, Listen to prime mental nutrition.
Success Factor #2 for Thriving: Feed Your Body! Get up and get moving. Once you build the momentum, you will be in a state such that you can continue the progress. There are two ways to look at this: you can take small steps to get the momentum going, or you can get out there and take some massive action. All you have to do is watch the Biggest Loser for an example of someone being exposes to extreme and massive action in the face of what seems to be formerly impossible.
Success Factor # 3 for Thriving: Find Your Role Models! It's important to find role models who are ahead of you, who represent where you want to be. It's also key to your success that you find role models of those who have less than you, or who have more adversity in their lives, yet are successfully transcending that adversity.
Success Factor # 4 for Thriving: Formulate a plan and take massive action. I will confess, I have not read it yet, but I have the One Page Business Plan on my list for Christmas gifts I am asking for it. Get your plan together and take massive action!
Success Factor #5 for Thriving: Feed your spirit through giving. There is a lot of need out there. People are starving from a financially, emotionally. It is in giving that we receive, so I encourage you to get out there and give. Utilize a site like kiva.org to give your resources to help those around the world get the start in business they need. Or visit a shut-in. There are so many ways you can give, if you put your mind and heart to it.
Please be sure to visit Tony Robbins' blog for two amazing videos that will rock your world and will help you thrive. Cheers, and be Blessed!
